Christmas Time!

During Christmas I try to keep two traditions alive. Growing up, my family being German, we celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve and my husband always celebrated on Christmas day. Now that I have a family of my own I try to incorporate both.
It was fun to see how fascinated my daughter was with all of the ornaments on the tree. At times she seemed a little too fascinated with the more expensive, fragile ornaments than I would have liked. By the time Christmas came around most of the top of the tree was decorated and the bottom was a bit sparse. All was well nothing major was broken.

Here's a picture of my daughter ready to go out for a walk all bundled up with her new Christmas present, a "lawn mower" that blows bubbles. She loves anything that she can push along. Soo Cute!

Birthday

I haven't posted for a bit so I have some catching up to do. My little one had her birthday just after Thanksgiving. I spent most of day before making her a "flower" cake. It's an amateur job, but she didn't' seem to mind. She got lot's of goodies from everyone. Both sets of her grandparents always seem to spoil her.
