California here we come!

Every year for Labor Day, our family likes to take a break and go on a vacation.  Last year we went on a cruise to Mexico, this year it was California.
Our first stop was to Universal Studios.  Unfornunately we arrived there a bit late, so we didn't get to spend as much time there as we would have wanted to.  Our little one had a blast running thru the water.  She didn't care about any of the rides, in fact she was more frightened of them.
Our next stop was to Disneyland.  This was my daughters first time here, we thought that she would love it...but nope.  She was frightened of most of the rides there.  However she absolutley loved to go on the Merry Go Round.  She liked the "horsies".
Although I think the highlight of the trip for Rob and Megan was Huntington Beach.  Rob always could swim like a fish, and Megan takes after her father.  We also collected lots of seashells (we had to discreatly discard some of the bad ones so not to upset Meg.
Last but not liest, Sea World!  My daughter loves Shamu and the Dolphins.  Although, she wasn't too sure about the Sting Rays. ha ha

Going Home!

Every year I take a trip back home to Utah to see my family. This year my sister and her family were also able to visit at the same time.

Whenever my daughter sees a picture of Jesus, she lights up.  She was excited to see the Christus at Temple Square.

If my daughter had it her way she would have been sitting in the fountain!  That reminds me of the time my brother fell into a fountain at Temple Square in the winter time. ha ha  It didn't help that he was wearing a thick wool coat! :)

Trip to Illinois

We had the opportunity to visit with my sister and her family this summer. My daughter was soo excited to spend time with some of her cousins.
We took a trip to "Lincoln Land". We visited his home that he lived in and the site that he was buried.

Easter!

Here's my little cutie on Easter. She loved her "pink" dress. I think she wanted to wear it everyday for a week.
